Supporting the Shared Work of Ministry

At St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, financial giving is one of the ways we participate together in the life and ministry of the church, making possible worship, care, learning, outreach, and presence in the wider community, and we are deeply grateful for every gift offered in trust, generosity, and hope.

Giving at St. Paul’s is not about obligation or pressure, but about sustaining the shared work we believe God calls us to do together, allowing our church to respond faithfully to spiritual needs, serve our neighbors with compassion, and remain a place of welcome, care, and community for all.

Scripture reminds us that generosity flows from gratitude, not compulsion. As the apostle Paul writes:

“Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
— 2 Corinthians 9:7

This spirit of joyful generosity shapes how we understand and receive gifts at St. Paul’s.

Gifts to St. Paul’s United Methodist Church help support the ongoing ministries and mission of the church, including:

  • Worship and music ministries that nurture faith and community

  • Christian education for children, youth, and adults

  • Outreach and care ministries that extend compassion beyond our walls

  • Pastoral care, presence, and support during times of need

  • The daily operations that allow our church to remain open, welcoming, and responsive

Every gift, regardless of size, contributes to the life we share and the work we are called to do together.

We recognize that choosing to give is a personal and meaningful decision, and we honor the trust placed in this community by those who offer financial support. Whether you give regularly, occasionally, or are simply learning more about our church, we are thankful for your presence and for the many ways people support the life of St. Paul’s.

Giving is one way among many that people participate in the ministry of the church, and all are welcome here regardless of their ability or decision to give.
